It is not a necessity to drink alcohol.  Most of our winery and brewery hosts have food items, local products, and gift shops with lots of interesting items available for purchase. If you choose to stop at a winery or brewery, choose a different type of product or consider purchasing a gift for someone.  If this makes you uncomfortable, there are hundreds of non-alcohol venues for you to visit.
